Lir Canoe Club are a “roof rack” style kayaking club.  We have a large number of instructors (ICU Level 2 – 4 Instructors)
as members but we dont run courses ourselves. Our instructors work with the Irish Canoe Union in running courses and we would direct you to canoe.ie for more information

Lir meet weekly throughout the year and will do large volume lowland rivers such as the Boyne, when the mountain white water rivers are not at an appropriate water level. Otherwise once the rains start falling you will find us hanging out at the nearest runnable white water rivers.

Lir also organise a number of weekends away per year as well as non kayak related activities.
